Lot of 2 Steinbach Wooden Christmas Tree Ornaments Handmade in Germany
These ornaments are made using wood and glue. Made with quality and detail. Depicts a deer and what looks to be a soldier. These measure just slightly over 3 inches in height.
This is a repair lot with the flaws noted as follows:
-The "soldier" has had its cape reglued in my opinion, though you may take a look and it may not look like this to you. It took me some time to come to this conclusion.
-The deer has one of his ears loose but still attached. Although glue has been used for these pieces, how the ear is attached is by a pre-drilled hole with the felt ear glued into the hole. I actually tried to remove it so that I could reglue it but it is still in there tightly (but only partially) attached and I did not want to finish pulling on it. You can probably just leave the ear in the hole and just glue the material around the hole some.
Other than the above flaws, these ornaments are in nice condition. I think you will be pleased with this listing upon arrival.
